Some say the anticipation leading up to a special event or holiday is the best part. For others, countdowns are those necessary gentle reminders to be prepared for “the big day”.
Our Countdown Calendars were created for you to purchase, print and display instantaneously (they are digital downloads - no physical product will be sent). We made our designs with home printing in mind and the best part is, they can all be stored in one small folder! We recommend displaying your calendar in an acrylic stand (here’s the brand we love) and use a dry erase marker directly on the stand to count down the days (don’t forget to remove the plastic sheeting over your acrylic before use). Using the stands vs. writing directly on the paper will reduce the amount of paper and ink used and you will be able to reuse your calendars year after year!
Whether you're counting down to Christmas, your wedding, the last day of school, or that much needed vacation, Countdown Calendars are not only a fun way to countdown the days, but they can also be a focal point of your decor. Used in the classroom, in your home, or at your place of business, you can create a designated space to be used for each Calendar (i.e. on a bookshelf, mantle or kitchen counter), or you can move the calendars around depending on the event being celebrated (i.e. Baby Countdown in the nursery, Vacation Countdown at your desk, Christmas Countdown in your living area, etc.). All you need is approximately 8.5” x 11” x 2”!
You can also GET CRAFTY and decorate your stand (or around your stand) with removable items such as confetti, ribbons, crinkle cut paper, balloons, flowers and taped on embellishments. While paint, stickers and glued-on embellishments will also make your stands look beautiful, they are a more permanent embellishment which may limit how you use your stands.
If you have more than one event that will be happening at the same time, you can use the double sided feature of your acrylic stand so you can countdown both events together!
